Bob Weir & The Campfire Band at MusicNOW

Bob Weir is a living legend. Having been one of the founding members of the Grateful Dead, he is also known as one of the best rhythm guitar players of all time. Earlier this year, Weir released his first solo album in over ten years. The album, Blue Mountain is a deeply personal collection of music inspired by the ranch stories and fireside songs of Bob’s youth, told with amazing wisdom and heart.

Following the release of Blue Mountain, Weir put together an acoustically-oriented band for a Campfire Tour throughout the month of October. The backing band is comprised of Aaron Dessner, Bryan Devendorf, Scott Devendorf, Jon Shaw, and Josh Kaufman. Together they play Blue Mountain along with classic Grateful Dead classics. Although the tour was short, each show sold out.

Fans were itching for another show and MusicNOW was the perfect opportunity. On Thursday, January 12th fans have the chance to witness a once in a lifetime performance at MusicNOW at Aronoff Center. Check out our full preview of MusicNOW here
