Anticipation is high for trance legend, Paul Van Dyk’s performance tonight at Mynt on Fountain Square. This will be his first show in Cincinnati and his first U.S. tour since falling through a faulty stage in Holland. Whether you’re a long-time trance fan or you’ve just been introduced, this is a show you won’t want to miss.  

Not only is this a big step for the #cincyedm community, but Paul Van Dyk is a pretty big deal. In 2003, he was the first EDM act to be nominated for a Grammy. In 05 and 06, he landed #1 for DJMag’s Top 100 DJ’s. Oh, and he’s played to the 3rd largest crowd ever for a concert - 1.6 million people. But, that’s not all that matters...it’s the music.  

Paul Van Dyk has become synonymous with dance music. Since the early 90’s he’s been mixing music, then for a German radio show and now for millions around the world. Listeners may recognize some of his most popular tracks including ‘For An Angel’, ‘We Are Alive’, ‘Lights’ and ‘I Don’t Deserve You.’.
