David Shaw's 2nd Annual Big River Get Down

RiversEdge Amphitheater in Hamilton, Ohio is excited to announce it will be hosting David Shaw's Big River Get Down presented by Miller Lite on Saturday, September 10th. The one-day festival will be headlined by fast-rising rock band The Revivalists and will also feature a special acoustic set by The Revivalists' front man and Hamilton native David Shaw, The Wild Feathers, Maggie Koerner, The Temperance Movement, The Marcus King Band, The Trongone Band and Roosevelt Collier!

Tickets are available HERE.  Advance tickets are $20, 4-packs of tickets are $75 and day of show tickets (if available) will be $25.

2016 marks the second annual Big River Get Down and the fifth consecutive year The Revivalists have performed at RiversEdge. For Shaw, hosting this festival in his hometown is about more than just a day of phenomenal music; it's an effort to make the City of Hamilton an even better place to live, work and play.  To help David accomplish this mission, all proceeds from the festival will be dedicated to the City of Hamilton's 4th of July fireworks and to provide additional free concerts at RiversEdge Amphitheater.

"This event is extraordinarily special to me because I believe that music can be the foundation and catalyst for big change and growth, said Shaw.  "Not just for the city, but for the people deep inside at their core.  When others from around the tri-state area get wind of what we're doing here, they're going to take notice.  A city like Hamilton has a rich history filled with a lot of interesting characters, twists and turns.  I believe that the Big River Get Down will serve as a turning point for the city in terms of togetherness, morale and pride.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for both the City of Hamilton and the Big River Get Down. We're in this as one, we're in this together."

David Shaw and his band, The Revivalists have garnered major national recognition lately. They made their national TV debut on the  Today Show  with their new radio hit "Wish I Knew You" and were named as one of  Rolling Stone's   " 10 Artists You Need To Know . The seven-piece band's world-class musicianship is front and center at their renowned live shows as guitar, drums, pedal steel guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboard, and trumpet collide with enigmatic, lead singer/guitarist David Shaw's soulful, swaggering vocals to create a sonic imprint all their own. Boasting many sold-out shows, a #2 debut on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart, and more than 4 million streams on Spotify, The Revivalists are quickly making a name for themselves with their eclectic Southern mix of jazz-funk grooves, blues rock grit, and warm melodies.
