Cincinnati’s Noah Smith has had a great 2015! Singles on the charts, a Southern tour, and back in the studio at Christmas. The Americana Rock and Roll singer song writer will kick off his first live performance of 2016 with none other than Gill Landry of the Old Crow Medicine Show. Smith will be Landry’s special guest at his show at the historic renovated and rejuvenated Ludlow Garage.
Landry is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Louisiana. He’s played guitar, banjo, pedal steal, and been a contributing songwriter in Old Crow Medicine Show since 2004. He is currently touring in support of his self-titled studio release (out now on ATO Records.) This run Landry, who in addition to his work with OCMS, has opened for Brandi Carlisle, Mumford and, and Ben Harper.
Playing on the same stage with Landry is a big thrill for Smith, who says he is also a fan, “For me performing on a bill such as this with an artist like Gill allows me to learn so much. Gill's put the miles in most people dream of. His songwriting is so strong it makes me want to better myself as a writer. I'm thankful to be performing with him.”
