Local Musicians Gather to Discuss State of Music Industry

MUSICLi (pronounced: musically), is hosting a musician-focused meet and greet, called SOUND OFF, DRINK ON at Barrio Tequileria in Northside. Local musicians are encouraged to come to Barrio on July 18th between 4-7pm to drink, complain, discuss, and share knowledge about the state of the music industry.

Haile Fellowship Winner, Brad Schnittger, will be there with a demonstration of his music licensing project, MUSICLi. He will meet with local musicians to gauge their needs, and discuss how the local music scene can work more closely together to open up music licensing as a much needed revenue stream for Cincinnati’s musicians.

Barrio Tequileria is under new ownership, and sees this event as an opportunity to rebuild good relationships and trust with the local music community which had been broken by the previous management.

About MUSICLi - MUSICLi is an online library of published music from the Greater Cincinnati area that can be licensed for a variety of uses. Greater Cincinnati is as rich with musical talent as it is with brands. MUSICLi brings these two worlds together providing musicians the opportunity to earn more money via music licensing, and businesses with quality music from their own backyard.
