Black Veil Brides, of which founder and lead singer of the band, Andy Biersack is from Cincinnati, Ohio were the big winners at the 2015 Alternative Press Music Awards. They took home the Skully for Album of the Year! The winning record is their most recent self-titled effort.

 It’s been a big year for the band—Andy Biersack and company just released their very first live DVD, Alive And Burning. The BVB Army won Most Dedicated Fans at last year’s ceremony, and they’ve certainly shown it by helping the band win Album of the Year.

On receiving the Skully, Biersack announced plans to give the award to the family of their friend Chris Holly who passed away recently.
