The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, under the direction of Conductor John Morris Russell, announces that Seth MacFarlane will make his Pops debut on Friday, July 24th at Riverbend Music Center’s PNC Pavilion as part of the Orchestra’s summer series.
A renaissance man known for his television and film hits such as Family Guy, American Dad! and Ted, Mr. MacFarlane has earned as much acclaim for his songwriting and vocal performances as his comedy. His debut album, Music is Better than Words, debuted at #1 on the iTunes jazz charts in 2011 and went on to receive two Grammy nominations. His other performances with full orchestras across the country have sold out. This one-night-only performance with the Pops will include hits from Broadway, big band and jazz such as “The Moon was Yellow” and “Zing Went the Strings of My Heart.”
Tickets for these concerts are on sale through the Pops Box Office by calling (513) 381-3300 or visiting cincinnatipops.org. Tickets start at $35 and include parking.
