Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle are doing a live audio and video recording at The Southgate House Revival tonight and tomorrow night and they want you to be a part of the show! Come get “Hustled” and caught on tape. We caught up with the band for some details about the event.
What are you recording?
We're recording 2 nights at The Southgate House Revival. We'll pretty much be doing every song we do, but definitely focusing on the ones we want to put on a new live CD. Alex Lusht (The Newbees) will be doing the recording. We're incredibly excited to be working with him. As far as the live recording vs. studio, we feel that we're a "live" band, and for what we do, this would be the best representation. A studio record will be next, but we thought putting out a live recording would be a good step at this point.
What does it mean to you to record at The Southgate House Revival?
We're recording in the Revival Room. Several bands around town have used that room for recording. It just sounds good up there and we always feel comfortable on that stage. The Southgate House Revival is just one of those places that feels like home to us. Basically, it's just like inviting a bunch of friends over, letting the tape machine run, and capture what we can.
When is the recording set to be released?
If everything goes according to plan, the record will be available around the middle of March.
