Kenton County Regulators Reunite

Kenton County Regulators are reuniting for a free, all ages show this Wednesday at The Southgate House Revival! Back in the day, their shows at Rabbit Hash were epic and you could see them playing out all over town. Pickers from all over would come to their shows for a chance to sit in with the band. The evening will be one to remember with multiple sets of bluegrass and country music alike.

The band is comprised of Brad Meinerding (he has played with The Sternwheelers, Comet Bluegrass All-Stars, Northern Kentucky Bluegrass Band, and he's recently been touring with Over the Rhine), Andy King (he has played with numerous groups over the years including Ma Crow and the Lady Slippers), Jesse Ebaugh (a founding member of Pearlene and now part of that little band called Heartless Bastards), Shane Gosney (amazing local fiddle player), Chris Cousintino (of The Turkeys, Northern Kentucky Bluegrass Band, among others), and Chris Hill (legendary banjo picker and has played with The James King Band as well as a lot of other folks).

Opening the evening will be Melissa Fairmount's Salty Candy. Doors are at 8p with the show starting at 8:30p in The Santuary at The Southgate House Revival. Come on down for a night to be talked about well into the new year!
