As part of their 2014 MADE for Music global campaign, Budweiser traveled the world this summer to London, Rio de Janeiro, New York City and Philadelphia following Sam Harris from X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons, the artists behind the summer hit song “Jungle”, to find the best street performers and underground musicians in each city. Together, they assembled the ultimate busker band to re-record a new version of “Jungle” with producer Alex Da Kid and perform it at the Budweiser Made in America Festival in Los Angeles on August 30th.
Drawing on the brand’s long-standing support of great music and great artists of all types from around the world, Budweiser’s MADE Underground series was inspired by the global confluence of music and other dynamic forms of artistic expression. The notion of music as a universal language was truly brought to life in this process - from searching to discovering to recording in the studio as a band for the first time to performing – all captured in the MADE Underground series, produced by Noisey.
On October 7th, Budweiser will release the sixth and final episode of the MADE Underground series featuring behind-the-scenes footage of X Ambassadors, Jamie N Commons and the busker band performing their re-recorded version of “Jungle” for the first time at Budweiser’s MADE in America Festival. The episode will be available on BudweiserMusic.com.
