The Front Bottoms at tSGHR Wednesday

The Front Bottoms have been kicking it since 2006. I’m sad to say that I just discovered the band last year. Their fourth album Talon of the Hawk, was released in May 2013 and they have exploded since then. Honest, snarky lyrics mixed with strong bass lines and much opportunity for sing-alongs. Need I say more? If I had to compare the band’s sound to others, I would say they would be a mix of The Promise Ring meets The Weakerthans. Which equals awesome.

Formed in Northern Jersey, The Front Bottoms grew organically throughout the underground. The Front Bottoms are Brian Sella (vocals/guitar), Matt Uychich (drums),Tom Warren (bass), and Ciaran O’Donnel (keys/trumpet/guitar).
