Once in a lifetime concert experience with MUSE Saturday and Sunday!

MUSE presents their 30th Anniversary Concerts and will honor the voices that have carried MUSE on a 30-year journey of musical excellence and social change. Dr. Catherine Roma, founder and director, will be retiring at the end of this season and these are her final MUSE performances. Programming for this concert includes both new and timeless pieces as a retrospective of the past 30 years.

70-voices strong, MUSE represents women of diverse backgrounds who sing to honor the enduring spirits of all people. Whether performing on courthouse steps or in a performing arts auditorium MUSE makes more than 25 concert appearance annually responding to life experiences through song.

MUSE is a women's choir dedicated to musical excellence and social change. In keeping with the belief that diversity is strength, they are feminist women of varied ages, races, and ethnicities with a range of musical abilities, political interests, and life experiences.

The concert program will include new MUSE commissions by Abbie Betinis, Elizabeth Alexander and Eric Lane Barnes. MUSE alums will join the stage for traditional MUSE favorites and the concert will end with a rousing medley of Aretha Franklin songs, newly commissioned for MUSE by Steve Milloy. This medley combines gospel and soul into an unforgettable experience sure to bring down the house!

Join MUSE for this once-in-a-lifetime concert experience and wish MUSE well as they “Carry On” into the next 30 years!
