The Doc Marshalls & Shiny Old Soul at The SGHR Tonight!

Acclaimed Americana band The Doc Marshalls have hit the road for a US tour in support of their recent release, Look Out Compadre. The Doc Marshalls play country, folk and Cajun music – band leader Nick is of Cajun descent and plays guitar and accordion. Alt-country and folk at its finest. Their debut album, No Kind of Life (2005), was warmly received by roots radio, spending over a month in the Top 40 of the Americana Music Association Radio Chart. Their 2008 CD, Honest for Once, surpassed this feat, making a rapid ascent to #19 and earning spots on “Best of” lists for the year, including the Americana Music Association and Pop Matters.com, among others. Their latest album, Look Out Compadre was released in May 2012. to rave  reviews.
