CincyMusic Spotlight to air on The Project 100.7/106.3 every Sunday!

(Cincinnati, OH) - announced today that local music veterans Venomous Valdez and Joe Long will host a local music show named CincyMusic Spotlight on The Project 100.7 / 106.3 every Sunday from 12:00am - 1:00am. The show will be available as a podcast on and following the terrestrial broadcast each week. The show will feature a mix of the region's most talented musicians, and will serve as a weekly recap of all the local music news from

"Cincinnati has such a rich music scene. The Project already champions amazing local acts like Walk The Moon, Foxy Shazam, 21 Pilots and Cinema Sleep in regular rotation. The Sunday Spotlight will give us a chance to expose even more of the talent Cincy has to offer, and provide local bands the platform to make it to the next level. Venomous Valdez started off as a DJ for WAIF FM Radio, co-hosting a program focused on the local music community. She has also worked for WEBN and the Midpoint Music Festival. Currently, she works with local bands The Sundresses & Wussy and fills her mornings at Bogart's working for Live Nation.

Joe Long started in 2003. His site provides show reviews, music news, and articles focused primarily on indie music. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer
