Bunbury Music Festival may not be until July, but it's time to start getting excited! We all had so much fun last year, how can you not be pumped for this year?! I can guarantee that Bunbury Music Festival will be jam packed with artists you have been dying to see... While you may have to wait a few weeks to get the festival lineup, you can sign up to be a volunteer or vendor now. DO IT.
Bunbury Music Festival Accepting Volunteer Applications
Cincinnati (January 24, 2013) – Bunbury Music Festival returns to Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove on July 12-14, 2013, and is now recruiting the best volunteers Greater Cincinnati has to offer. The three-day event transforms the banks of the Ohio River into a unique music and festival experience where participating volunteers can work in a number of different areas.
“We’re looking for volunteers for each day, and for many jobs,” said Bill Donabedian, festival organizer. “From helping greet attendees to selling items, we’re looking for volunteers who can do a little bit of everything.”
There is no application fee, multiple shifts are available (morning, afternoon, evening) and opportunities include beverage sales, box office/gates, bullpen, clean team, greeters, information/lost and found, volunteer headquarters and team leaders. Regardless of when and where volunteers work, their role is critical to the success of the festival. Not all applicants are guaranteed selection.
There is no monetary compensation for a four-hour volunteer shift; however, volunteers will receive, at minimum, free admission into the festival (on days worked) and a free t-shirt. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Greater Cincinnati. Selected volunteers will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to their shift for orientation and will need to sign a waiver.

The deadline for volunteers to apply is Friday, May 31, 2013, 5 p.m. EST. Volunteer notifications begin Monday, June 3, 2013. All volunteers will be notified of their status by Monday, June 17, 2013.
Applications are also being accepted for advocacy groups, food, mobile food, merchandise, craft and business (sales or recruitment) vendors. The festival offers a vast array of options for vendors including tents and booth space in front of 15,000 to 20,000 people daily plus receiving additional promotion through the Bunbury website and other promotional activities. About Bunbury Music Festival: Bunbury Music Festival is an alternative music festival that will feature 80 live performances on six stages throughout Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove from July 12-14, 2013.
