Tonight: The Natives

The Natives are a Cincinnati born-and-raised Rap/Future band consisting of five artists: JJ, Feeno Goodie, Hap, Champayne (Champ) and Pii (P). When you hear a song from these guys, its not hard to tell they've been creating music all their lives. I dare not not to dance and fall in love with this band at first listen.

Growing up around music all of their lives, their wide range of influences (including The Wu Tang Clan, Ohio Players, Herbie Hancock, Biggie, Jay-Z, Little Dragon, as well as Gospel music) are fused into their music, producing a sound all it's own. The Natives are known for their live show where they display their originality. Thus far The Natives have performed along side: Talib Kweli, Michael Buble, Wiz Khalifa, MGK, Chip tha Ripper, and Stalley.

Ahead of their time, The Natives wrote, produced, and released their debut project "Native America" in the first half of 2012, receiving great critical acclaim.

The Natives play TONIGHT at The Mad Frog. All ages, $5 at door. You won't want to miss it!
