The Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY has just announced that My Morning Jacket will be this year's headliner for their ten year anniversary which takes place July 13-15. The band will also help curate the remaining talent for this years festival. The festival will be held at Waterfront park on the banks of the Ohio River.
This will be the first full attempt at the festival for new partner Ashley Capps (AC Entertainment). JK McKnight started the festival in a small Louisville park 11 years ago. The festival saw huge growth in 2009 and 2010 when Nederlander Entertainment partnered with JK to bring in artists such as Widespread Panic, Black Keys, Flaming Lips, Smashing Pumpkins, She & Him, Cake, and many others.
