Zoo Trippin' was founded in 2014 when Lynn Roose III and Tony Casa started a new project with Steve Hatmaker and Austin Smith. Shortly after the band picked up Drew Dimitrovski on rhythm guitar, and mulit-instrumentalist Jeff Straw on keys in 2016. Zoo Trippin' is the child of years of live performances, recordings, and previous projects. The group holds true to its Blues/Rock roots but is now off in a new direction, adding a more funk/alternative element to the already genre blending

Zoo Trippin' is the child of years of live performances, recordings, and previous projects. The group holds true to its Blues/Rock roots but is now off in a new direction, adding a more funk/alternative element to the already genre blending style.
In 2015 Zoo Trippin' made large leaps with playing with acts like Brick and Morter, The Werks, Soul Position(RJD2 and Blueprint), Rovey, Saintsenca and many more, they made mulitple festival stops, played shows acrossed ohio, released their first ep Kids These Days, and even hosted and played a massive show at the historic Newport Music Hall.
In 2016 Zoo Trippin' will hit the road making stops in multiple states. ZT will be focusing on the festival circuit for most of the year, and will be touring in support of the two EP's they've recently recorded(Z-Sides and Great White Buffalo). ZT is now also in rotation on the radio as well.
As of recent ZT has completed and relased their 3rd ep entiltled "Great White Buffalo", and in early 2017 ZT has completed wrting/recording/mixing/and mastering a full length concept album(set for release on June 24th 2017). Recording of the album took place at Oranjudio studios with owner/producer/and head engineer-Joey Gurwin. Also in 2017 Zoo Trippin played Epress Live for the first time(and headlined the Newport Music Hall for thier first time the very same week), started production on a year long high end documentary, booked a slew of festivals and prime shows in multiple cities, and played with acts like Devin The Dude, Local Natives, Deep Valley, Run River North, The People's Blues of Richmond, Tropidelic, Broccili Samuria and many more!
With new members, new songs, an unparalleled live show, and a fresh style all their own-Zoo Trippin' will soon span the airwaves and rock the continents!
