Steven Gregory was born in Dayton, OH, grew up in Huber Heights and has spent the last 10 years living in Wilmington. Steve first got interested in playing guitar from listening to Dave Matthews. Steve also spent a lot of time listening to Prince, Eric Clapton and John Mayer who all influenced his lead guitar playing. With Steve’s music you will hear a little bit of everything from pop, blues, R & B and jazz. Having Cody Curtis on sax adds an element that makes the music jump from one genre to another.

Steve has always been comfortable on stage, performing in his first talent show in the 3rd grade. He discovered the guitar right after high school and by the end of his freshmen year in college he was playing talent shows and frat houses. He also played a lot of coffee houses and open mic nights in the late 1990’s that has led him to where he is today. Steve has also opened for Richie Havens twice, the first time in 2005. He learned from Richie how to authentically interact with the crowd. 

Some of the venues Steve has performed at include The Southgate House, Arnolds Bar and Grill, Peaches Grill, TinCap, O’ Bannon Creek Vineyard, Taffy’s, South Street Wine Cellar and General Denver Hotel. Some notable recent festival appearances include the Brown County Wellness Festival, PorchFest in Dayton and the Yellow Springs Street Fair.

Steve has performed over 50 shows so far in 2019 with more to come. He has had the benefit of working with Matt Wallace in the studio on a few tracks that has helped him to further develop his writing and playing. He now has more songs ready to record and will go back in the studio in the near future.
