The vision behind Live Sequence is to insinuate the unusual, be a courier of the extraordinary, and to deliver the experience in a raw and embracing manner. When the group performs live, they aim to use textures and sounds often associated with electronic music. This along with their background in funk and jazz is what separates them from traditional electronic groups. They always perform everything with live instrumentation and without any pre-recorded material.
ZiG is an Essential Productions supported artist and has been invited to play at Resonance Music and Arts Festival every year. There he had the opportunity to share the stage with many staple players in the scene including Rob McConnell (Papadosio), Mike Healy (Papadosio), Rob Chafin (The Werks), Jake Goldberg (The Werks), Mike Gantzer (Aqueous), Peridoni and more. ZiG has also shared the stage playing drums with the Joe Marcinek Band where he played with Jason Hann (SCI/EOTO), Holly Bowling (Phish for Solo Piano), and Taylor Shell (Turkuaz). ZiG has also had the opportunity to play opening slots for touring bands Consider the Source, Mister F, Peridoni, and more.
ZiG’s festival resume also includes Paradise Music and Arts Festival, Laniakea Transformational Festival, Nebulosity Music and Arts Festival, and others. Sean has also performed at many other festivals over the last 7 years with his previous, disbanded project, Don’t Fear the Satellites as well as a sideman for other bands.
