He now produces for many artists across multiple genres, including a hip-hop album he wrote and produced in London. He doesn’t like to say much about himself. Phantom (Philip Terry) was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and grew up listening to everything from EDM to classical music. He began making hip-hop music with his cousin at the age of 14 under the name D.Y.D. (Do Your Dance). Since then, Phantom has turned D.Y.D. into a motivational movement and a publishing company with the purpose of signing and developing up-and-coming artists new to the industry. Do Your Dance means be yourself, do your own thing, and find what you were put on this Earth to do regardless of how others feel. Skrooge and Phantom began their collaboration in 2013 following Phantom’s return from performing in South America. After releasing a conscious album entitled “Mr. Magic” they have decided to create a party album entitled “Last Call”. They have now teamed up to create the non-genre specific record label “D.Y.D. Daleth Records”. The labels first release was September 2, 2018, Tomé’s debut album, their second was September 29, 2018, Impak’s debut album.
