Darity is the curated project of singer/songwriter Linsley Hartenstein. The name Darity comes from the word “solidarity” meaning “to be unified”. Without prefix “sol”, we find “Darity”, is defined “the sum of”. Darity’s first independent full-album release “Bitterroot” deals with the process of heartbreak and healing. Inspired by and written from the Bitterroot Valley in Victor, Montana, “Bitterroot” is filled with rich visuals, dynamic depth, and restorative songwriting.
Darity has since been hard at work preparing for the release of their next collection of songs beginning with the dream-pop-inspired single “Silver Spoon” set to for release October 2020.
