The angelic vocals of 19-year-old Catlea will leave you wanting more. The singer-songwriter from Cincinnati, Ohio has been playing music for as long as she can remember. Along with her distinctive voice, Catlea plays piano, guitar, and ukulele; her music spanning the genres of folk and indie to rock and pop.
“I love writing my own songs, making music with others, and performing onstage,” stated Catlea. “It’s what I was born to do.” Her songs feature catchy ‘earworms’ and witty lyrics that get inside your head and make you want to hit the replay button. “I try to create music that means something not just to me, but to the person listening.”
Inspired by every-day occurrences, Catlea’s lyrics focus on topics such as love, friendship, politics, and nature. As a member of the LGBTQ community, Catlea strives to create music that is inclusive of everyone, no matter how they identify. Strong female vocalists influence Catlea’s sound, and her musical style is similar to Billie Eilish, Halsey, Kailee Morgue, Au/Ra, Grace VanderWaal, Ingrid Michaelson, and Ruelle.

In just eight months, the Cincinnati-based musician has gained 67,000 followers on social media and streaming services. Her songs “Breathe Away”, “Cherry Pie,” and “Bad for Me” have been streamed over a total of 1,050,000 times, and her YouTube lyric videos have more than 170,000 views.
