Actual Italians is a basementcore trio formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2016 with guitarist/vocalist Liz Slocum, bassist Griff Brydon-Williams, and drummer Rob Stambaugh. When Brydon-Williams left the band in 2018, he was replaced by Patrick Helmes. The current lineup includes Brian Stambaugh on bass. Their first EP, "Vive al Urban Artifact," was recorded live at Urban Artifact and was released in June 2017. The band's first album, "Trashionalism," was released in March 2018 and distributed by Flowerpot Records in Berea, Ohio. Their latest EP, "Catharsis," was released in January 2022 not long after bassist Brian Stambaugh joined the band.
