JSPH: A Cincy-Based Artist Songs’ Set to Be placed in a Lifetime Film

Director Anthony DiBlasi selected Cincinnati based musician JSPH’s songs, ”Forever” and “Distance” for DiBlasi’s upcoming Lifetime movie, Wuthering High School. The novelistic love story will air on the Lifetimechannel, March 14 at 8pm EST and March 15th at 12pm EST.

Academy-Award nominee James Caan, Paloma Kwiatkowski, Sean Flynn, Francesca Eastwood are among the impressive cast. JSPH fans can expect to hear the riveting melodies of “Forever” from his previously released EP Rest in the opening credits. The atmospheric “Distance” is from JSPH’s new EP Rule, which will be on the soundtrack and available on iTunes March 13th.  Rule splits abstract and traditional song-writing elements, establishing a signature style that sets JSPH apart.

The ever-evolving JSPH decided to ditch creating a conventional music video for his new single, but will release a short film for Rule on YouTube on March 12th.

“I’ve always enjoyed acting,” he said. “I was excited about developing the film with producer DJ Corbett and videographer Emad Rashidi.”

Rule, is an emotionally packed EP that mainly highlights brokenness and reconciliation. JSPH said the mini-film is based off a personal experience. “I took someone I cared about for granted,” he said.  “You will hear me dealing with the emotions from that experience but rooted from a more mature place. I think it’s important to take responsibility and learn from your mistakes.”
