School of Rock Mason Takes on Blondie and The Police

School of Rock Mason will present its Blondie and The Police show at Northside Tavern on Saturday, December 6th at 5:30p!

The show has some of the school's best students in its cast and is directed by Melissa Fairmount of the Fairmount Girls and Chris Barlow of The Cla-Zels. "I came of age listening to Blondie and The Police and Deborah Harry is one of my idols, so I am thrilled to direct this show," said Fairmount. "It's been really fun introducing our kids to the music and coaching them to some fabulous performances.”

School of Rock Mason is a performance-oriented music school with after-school programs for kids 7-18 and programs for adults. While they offer private lessons in guitar, bass, drums, keys and voice, their core program is the Performance Program, in which students come in for a weekly private lesson and for a weekly group rehearsal of a show that they will put on.
