It is that time of year again! It is Beard-thirty time! Dust off those beards, air out those tents, and clean out your coolers. It is time to get ready for another grand old time at the annual Whispering Beard Folk Festival in Friendship, Indiana. Bring your beards or borrow a friend’s beard for a festival that is like no other, complete with a full lineup of banjo picking, swing dancing, and porch singing traditional and maybe not-so-traditional good ol’, down-home folk music, that last an entire weekend. In addition, there will be bushels of good eats to get your grub on and keep you kicking including the legendary Eli’s BBQ and Jugheads Grub, and to tickle your fancy, a handful of artisan vendors will be within a holler. Most importantly, do not forget your tent because you are going to want to campout to savor every minute of this toe-tapping, knee-clapping, and beard dancing musical weekend hoedown with friends from all over our fine nation!
