Fantasy pop duo Savoir Adore playing Bunbury!

Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro are Savoir Adore. Hailing from Brooklyn, NYC, the pop-rock duo have recently re-released previously self-released, Our Nature with The Nettwerk Music Group, a Vancouver-headquartered company that launched Sarah McLachlan, Skinny Puppy and Coldplay. Among the stops on their first national U.S. tour will be one to our very own Bunbury Music Festival! The pair have been selling out shows in NYC and I couldn’t be more excited to see this pair in action.

Hammer and Muro have the honor of living their dream pretty much full time, “We still do commercial stuff, making jingles and such but it’s all things we enjoy to do.” NPR has praised the pair’s “dreamy dialogues with wiry, earthy hooks and defiant dance beat.” It just so happens that Hammer exclaimed when asked which artist if given an opportunity to work with would be, “The producer of MGMT, Dave Fridmann.” I see some band networking happening at Bunbury

Savoir Adore is at the right at the cusp of being “that” next band but they have already had some amazing times. Hammer describes some of his favorites as, “At one show a huge inflatable shark was floating around the audience, looks of wonder filled the audience. People of the ages of 25-35 with looks on their faces as if they were children. And another time a girl sent us a message that she heard us playing in a Starbucks in Moscow. That’s pretty awesome that we can reach people of all different types all over the world.”

Don’t miss the chance to see the dreamy Savoir Adore at Bunbury!
