The Heights Music Festival: Day 2

The Heights Music Festival was once again a smashing success! The day fest brought us a great group of all-ages performances including an energetic and awesome performance from The Stratfords. Later, at Baba Budans, Dinosaurs & Thunder jammed out grunge style, Those Guys, The Natives, Trademark Aaron, Da 3rd Element brought the house down and Eclipse had people literally dancing up the walls. While at Christy’s Beirgarten, Kissing Daylight rocked the patio and The Never Setting Suns were breathtaking. At Mac’s Pizza, Jamwave got the crowd up and dancing while The MJ’s Blues were music for the soul. The “secret” show at Rohs Street Café with The Pinstripes had that church shaking.

I left with many new favorite bands to look forward to seeing again soon! Share below your favorites of the night.

The Heights Music Festival is one of a kind event for local talent to come out and shine in front of audiences they may not have otherwise. Everyone I met had a story to tell of a band they had just seen for the first time. Can’t wait for next year!
