Multi-talented Alternative-pop artist Mavenne [“maven”] loves the entire creative process, from writing, laying down vocal tracks & harmonies, to exploring the limits of the newest production software. Her agile 3-octave range enables her to produce lush choral effects and she is known to record in up to 10-part harmony with herself for dramatic results. Former Taylor Swift manager Rick Barker says “She has one of the best voices I’ve heard in a really long time" and numerous music competitions agree:
Mavenne has been honored to receive a California Music Video Award (February, 2020), (which followed with being a California Music Video Award Presenter, broadcast in 2021), placed in the top 0.01% out of 9,500 entrants as a Finalist in the 2021 International Songwriting Contest, was named a John Lennon Songwriting Contest Top 3 winner for Pop (Session 1, 2018 – organized by Yoko Ono), garnered TWO International Acoustic Music Awards (Top 10 Alternative artist for vocal skill/ Finalist), and received a GMA Top-3 award at the unsigned artist singer-songwriter competition called “Immerse” in 2015.
Mavenne honed her skills as producer when her first songwriting mentor Loren Israel (former head of A & R at Capitol Records) said during her second songwriting lesson “now, add a harmony part”, which required knowledge of production and came as an unexpected surprise. Mavenne then excused herself, took 6-months off from lessons, and taught herself how to produce! She absolutely fell in love with production and has become a skilled producer now after 8 years of honing the craft. Recent television placements include such beloved shows as Riverdale and Batwoman (including a season finale). Her song Sirens (Follow Me Down) successfully charted at #14 on the iTunes Spain Alternative Charts as well as nearly cracked the Top 100 for ALL Genres in that same country, and almost placed in the top 100 Alternative charts in France as well. An interview with Mavenne is currently featured on the nationally broadcast PBS show Music California, second season.
Mavenne has been influenced by such powerhouse singers as Marina, Lana Del Rey, & Sia. When Mavenne is not in the studio or performing, she spends time on her other passion: training wolves or wolf-dogs at a wolf preserve!
“This would make my playlist, and I'm very stingy who I let into my playlist! Ear candy !” - Brett Manning, voice coach to over 50 GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING singers, referring to Mavenne's music
