Majestic Man was originally formed in the summer of 2008 by Joe Hart, Alex Cook, Michael Allgeyer and Jimmy Topmiller. They spent their first year as a band jamming and writing music in basements and lofts around Cincinnati. Their first gig was at Top Cats with the band Losanti in the summer of '09. The band has since then been steadily working on writing new music and playing more shows throughout the greater Cincinnati area. Around May of 2010, The band parted ways with Jimmy and brought in Dan Cole, who remains as the current drummer of the band. Majestic Man's list of influences is long and and draws from many different styles of music including rock, jam, blues, funk, reggae, jazz, folk, and indie. Each member of the group contributes to the compositional process. This results in a diverse spectrum of songs that sound much different from one another.

Majestic Man has performed with many local bands such as: The Pinstripes, Brandon Meade, The Harlequinns, Dan Orlando, The Cla-zels, The Prohibitionists, The Perfect Norm, Revenge Pinata, Mr. Brown's Mysterious Sounds, Don't Fear The Satellites, SHADOWRAPTOR, Buckra, Losanti, The OHMS and many more at venues such as The Drinkery, The Mad Frog, Baba Budan's, Burnett Woods, Christy's Biergarden, Mac's Pizza Pub, Top Cats, The Leapin Lizard as well as various house parties and art galleries around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky

Majestic Man is about making music for the sake of music.
