Mack West

With the positive reception of its self-titled debut from 2009 and its sound marriage of Southwestern country, blues and rock, Cincinnati’s Mack West has established its own sub-genre: Alt-western. The evocative sound immediately caught the ears of national television producers looking for the right music for their shows’ soundtracks. Tracks from Mack West’s discography have provided background to over 30 episodes of History Channel’s “American Pickers", CMT's "Hot 20 Countdown", Fox Sports' "Nascar Race Day", and a commercial spot for El Pollo Loco restaurants.

Mack West's contribution to the local music scene is well recognized and their unique but welcoming sound continues to turn heads wherever they go. They've been nominated twice for a Cincinnati Entertainment Award (CEA) and have performed at numerous venues and festivals, including Cincinnati's MPMF (Midpoint Music Fest), Bobby Mackey's Music World, Old West Festival, Clifton Fest, Browngrass, and Metamora Music Festival. Currently the band is booking for 2016 and putting the finishing touches on their third studio album.
