Brent Gallaher is a local favorite in the Cincinnati jazz scene. His style is deeply rooted in the classic tenor saxophonists Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane and Joe Henderson; yet, he adds his own personally and modern approach to the instrument. He can be heard heading up his own ensembles, or as a sideman with with many local groups such as Masterworks Jazz Orchestra, Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, the Blue Wisp Big Band, and the Art Gore Quartet.
