Airshow is an acoustic rock and bluegrass band based in Nashville Tennessee. Founded by childhood friends, Steve Gallagher (guitar and vocals) and Cody Chelius (mandolin and vocals), the lineup was completed in the summer of 2016 with the addition of Bill Baker (bass) and Ben Plewes (drums). The band combines americana and jam band roots to create their high flying sound. Since the release of their debut EP, Lightbulb, Airshow has begun to spread their wings, taking performances to new heights with their unique setlists and a desire to improvise.
This high energy, non-traditional bluegrass band combines the elements of rock and roll, bluegrass, rockabilly and modern acoustic jazz to creat their own exciting jam grass style. The group is fronted by the energetic and awesome guitar, fiddle and vocal of Harry Pedigo. His partners include the amazing banjo, mandolin and vocal of Ben Pedigo, the driving, pulsating bass of Bill Robinson and the stunning sound of the dobro played by Rockne Riddlebarger. The band’s infectious and animated stage show bring the audience and fans to their feet amid shouts of joy at every performance.
