Funk fiends and Deadheads will have the perfect haunt this Halloween weekend, as Asheville psychedelic rock band The Snozzberries are hosting a 2-night Halloween Spooktacular at Octave on Oct 26 and 27.

Night One has The Snozzberries masquerading as their alter-ego, "Floyd Is Dead." Successfully walking the line between loving tribute and a creative improvisational vehicle, this homage to psychedelia is truly unique. Fans of Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead, don your finest tie-dyes and get ready for your favorite tunes as you've never experienced before!

On Night Two The Snozzberries will be in true form, playing spicy original music heavy on funk and progressive rock. Joining the show is Columbus, OH favorite Electric Orange Peel. Known for their fun jams and whimsical improvisation, EOP is sure to please.

But just what are the Snozzberries (and what do they taste like)? Combining psychedelia, funk and fusion in lively whirlwind of sonic pleasure, The Snozzberries are Asheville's freakiest musical pioneers. This high-energy powerhouse channels the head-bobbing grooves of Vulfpeck, the oddity of Primus, and the intensity of Umphrey’s McGee. Since their formation in fall of 2017, The Snozzberries have been building their name as the Southeast's most electrifying live band. Come join the party where the jams are fresh and the vibes are dialed in just right. 

The Snozzberries Halloween Spooktacular will be at Octave on Oct 26 and 27. Tickets are $10 each night and the show is 21+. Costumes encouraged!
