Taryn & Linda: Taryn Valpey and Linda Chaney's musical journey began, together in 2011. Prior to the two of them creating their music, Linda, who was born and raised in Hamilton Ohio, has been singing since she was five years old. She has music in her veins and had been blessing the ears of many with her beautiful vocal renditions ever since she started to sing. For Taryn, she was born and raised in Boston, but came to Cincinnati seven years ago and has quietly been teaching herself the guitar for the last six years. Her natural talent shines through as soon as she hits the first note. Since then, these two incredibly talented women have been sharing their innovative sounds of tunes new and old with many local pubs in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. They are currently working on their first CD which will be released in 2014.
Mandy Watts: Mandy grew up in a family of bluegrass musicians. As a kid, she learned banjo from her granddad. Then, at sixteen years old, she picked up the guitar and she's been writing songs ever since. Mandy's picking style and her penchant for a good story are hallmarks of her queer, Southern roots. Little bit country, a little bit rock n roll--with a dash of queer desire and Southern angst.
