Award-winning singer-songwriter Jeanne Jolly is invigorating the music scene with her heartfelt lyricism, heavenly range and soulful folk-pop beats tinged in Appalachian Americana. She is carving out her own genre, music without boundaries that pulls from her classical training and folk sensibility.


Jeanne’s new album, ‘Angels’ has garnered top reviews from the News & Observer, WRAL, Creative Loafing and more.The album debuted in the top fifteen on iTunes singer-songwriter chart. It is a grassroots album to sink your teeth into, defined by its thoughtful ballads (“Round and Round Again,” “Good Man”and more…) to feisty alt-country romp ‘The Hard Way.” The soul-infused song “Sweet Love” invites listeners to pull out a picnic blanket and bask in the sunlight.The album has a depth of sweetness and sorrow that can fit any mood and strikes a chord with a variety of music fans.


In 2012, Jeanne Jolly headlined renowned Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, before embarking on a tour of the Pacific Northwest where she headlined the Sweet Pea Festival of the Arts and the Red Ants Pants Festival alongside the likes of Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris and Billy Joe Shaver. 2013 will see Jeanne touring throughout the U.S. engaging festival and club audiences.


Born and raised in Raleigh North Carolina, Jolly attended Western Carolina University’s School of Music, where she was the recipient of the Young Alumni Award.She received a Masters in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory.Upon completing her education, Jolly broke onto the music scene as the featured vocalist for Grammy Award winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti.With Botti, Jeanne toured internationally, having the opportunity to sing with world renowned symphonies and performing at marquee venues and events such as Carnegie Hall and the Monterey Jazz Festival.
