The Doc Marshalls' new album, “Look Out Compadre”, is currently enjoying healthy rotation on indie rock and Americana radio, spending over a month on the CMJ Top 200 Chart and peaking at #147. Whereas previous releases evoked a humid musical landscape along the Texas-Louisiana border, their latest effort embraces crooked, shimmering folk reminiscent of Phosphorescent and Bonnie Prince Billy.
