Greater Cincinnati Artist Relief Fund

It’s tough out there folks for those of us in the music, food, entertainment industry. Heck – almost everyone, right? Please consider giving to the Greater Cincinnati Artist Relief Fund if you are in the position to.

As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, we want to create a platform to support local artists and freelance workers who keep our culture and community vibrant and find themselves out of work due to the crisis.

We're a diverse group of low-income artists in Cincinnati raising money to support other artists and freelancers like us who are taking financial hits as a result of closures and lost income from COVID-19. Our intention is to collectively raise funds to provide emergency and preventative resources to those at financial risk.

In an effort to provide relief during this crisis, we hope to give our artists a chance to recover and to aid in the resilience of our thriving arts culture and to sustain it far beyond this time of need. Whether it's from cancelled gigs, lost jobs, or a lack of business due to coronavirus scares, we hope to orchestrate an egalitarian approach to crowdsourcing. The more funding we receive, the more money we can provide to more people.

If you are in need, you can "apply" by filling out
this short survey. Please include all payment and contact info so that we can pay you as quickly as possible. All information shared remains confidential.

For logistics and transparency: Ian Timothy Forsgren will withdraw the funds as results from the survey come in and send the funds to the individual artist requesting them (the beneficiary). Funds will go directly to the artists to counter any lost income incurred as a result of cancelled jobs, gigs, and illnesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the area.
