Little did we know that in the decade or so after the song's release, it would be shared around the world, cassette copy to cassette copy (please may I never hear a 10th generation copy...) In 1999 a dear friend forwarded me an email he received on his website from someone in Germany, noting he was in Cincinnati and asking "Do you know this band, Perfect Jewish Couple?" One connected Shari and Kelly learned they had fans in niches in many countries. Pretty cool, huh? Led to our 2007 release of "Time Capsule"; all original tracks form the 80s but remixed in the digitall New Millennium. What fun to be ble to maneuver the mix in ways that were simply impossible when the tracks were first recorded in the 80S. Big fun. Anyhow, we continue to receive requests for CDs and our vinyl 1985 release. We play out once every while when it's fun, low stress, a good venue with monitors, and strong publicity support to bring in our fans. Our heritage in Cincinnati is strong and we love to play here :-) Shari Lauter, MEd.: multi-instrumentalist, composer, researcher, educator. I love music.
