Michael Hennel: Drummer for Independent Ear/CBS recording/touring artist THE SUMMIT BAND. Mike has toured the country sharing the stage with the likes of ZZ Top, Collective Soul, REO Speedwagon and more. And,he totally looks like a rock star, doesn't he?
Chip Bramlage: Lead guitar, producer, engineer. 25+ years regional performing and recording experience. Former lead guitarist for SHADOWBOX CABARET, SUITE 9 and more.
Rob Simpson: 25 years national touring and recording experience. Steeped in Jazz, Bluegrass, Gypsy Rock and Hard Rock, Rob achieved national notoriety as bassist for the touring Japanese Gypsy Rock band KAGERO. Rob has a degree in playing bass. Really.
"The Relentless Pursuit" is loosely a concept album. I came out of college ready to conquer the world. I was going to be a rock star...or a news anchor, or something, anything special. But life happened, and here we all are. We work in cube farms. We live in suburbs. We compare lawns. It’s fine....but didn't we all think we'd do something a little bigger? Aren't we all just a BIT pissed? How about an album that tells THAT story?
I believe in well designed rock music with a pop sensibility, strong deliberate beats, songs that rise, fall, and take you places....songs that give you the big payoff and then but throw you a curve ball along the way. Honest sounding guitars. Big drums. Hooks that embed themselves in your brain like an ear worm
I believe in high-energy, uplifting live performances...so I got a band that could help me build that kind of a show. Come check us out!"-Marc
