Kryptaker is Jeff, Kevin, Zach, and most recently Nolan. Kryptaker started with Jeff and Zach playing together a few times a week in Dayton, creating a large amount of new material together with major influences coming from Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Megadeth, Death Angel, Overkill, and Exodus. As the catalog began to finalize, Kevin, who knew Jeff through High School, joined the group in early 2016 and started to write leads, as well as his own material. With the band mostly ready to

As the catalog began to finalize, Kevin, who knew Jeff through High School, joined the group in early 2016 and started to write leads, as well as his own material. With the band mostly ready to start to play, Nolan filled in the missing bass role late 2016, and Kryptaker was born.

The band had played their first show at Top Dog Saloon on May 13th, 2017.
