In August, Phratry Records turned 11 years old. To mark this anniversary, we're celebrating with a series of tours, one-off shows, new videos and several new releases in these last few months of 2015.
Knife The Symphony (Cincinnati, OH), who have been trudging across the MidWest and East Coast all year long, release a brand new split EP with Phratry's Smoke Signals… this Thursday, September 24 at Northside Yacht Club. Knife The Symphony will continue hitting the road this Fall, with this new record in tow. Thursday's release show will be in Cincinnati before the band hits the road for a series of shows throughout the Fall with Nonagon (Controlled Burn Records / Chicago) and Ampline (Phratry Records / Sofaburn Records). The new record truly is a collective effort with Shane Chaney of Phratry's Swear Jar behind the board and tape machines and both Knife The Symphony and Smoke Signals… screen-printing and constructing the packaging on their own.
