Ed Ackerson is a local musician who is currently in complete renal failure. He is on dialysis while waiting for a matching donor kidney. Ed has been battling kidney disease for over twenty years. This will be his third transplant. Over the last two decades, Ed has played to thousands of people on hundreds of gigs with dozens of musicians. He has been in many of the tri-state's more popular bands including Hurricane, Stays In Vegas, Strangelove, and the Snowshoe Crabs.
Ed lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife Leslie and their four children.
A silent auction will also be part of this event.
