American Rail Council at The Southgate House Revival

Moonbow started out as a writing project when singer Matt Bischoff approached David McElfresh of Hank 3/Lethal. The plan was to get together to write some songs for a possible recording project. After a few weeks of getting together at Davids house it was obvious that something bad ass was happening. We approached former Afghan Whigs/Hermano drummer Steve Earle and Bassist Ryan Mcallister of Valley of the Sun to form Moonbow.
American Rail Council distills its sound from the hills and hollers of the traditional to the resonating hymns of Rock n Roll. We are a generation reaching back to an older one. It is our grandparents' traditional southern gospel, Appalachian hill stomp legacy married to our rock musings in a modern world. It is old and new.
Opossum Holler is a high octane blend of rockabilly, punkabilly and psychobilly influences. Hailing from Clarksville, Tennessee, the Holler was born in an abandoned Mason's lodge on the Cumberland river. Featuring the lightning fast guitar work of Lloyd Nicely, the precision drumming of Matt Devore and the rock solid bass work of Brad Ausbrooks, Opossum Holler is a down home rock and roll experience you have to see to believe
