Jimmy Mundane is from Marquette, Michigan, where he spent several years writing songs, performing, and recording six albums. His three most recent albums are available on iTunes.
After relocating to Kentucky’s Golden Triangle, he formed the current RastaBilly Power Trio with Lead guitarist Mark "Increase" Louden and drummer Bret Chavez “Slicky Boy” Dawson. This current line up plays electric, and is definitely more of a "rockin" sound than the mixes from the CD's that are posted here.
With a current song list of sixty originals and about twenty interpretive cover songs, The show is likely to be different each time you hear them. We are short on pumped-up commentary and long on energy, often playing an hour and a half before first break. We come to play-plain and simple. If you are looking for something with high energy and originality, but with enough hooky appeal to avoid the eye-rolling that usually accompanies the mention of original bands, you just found us. Jimmy is currently working on two new albums, one with the band, and one solo acoustic. These albums will be available by April 2013
