Selecters / Cincinnati, OH/NKY Dum N Bass A 23-year veteran deejay, Troll is revered as one of the early pioneers of the US drum and bass (DnB) movement and the first herald of the Jungle/DnB sound in Cincinnati. Influenced heavily by 80’s alternative, synth-pop, industrial, acid-house, and breakbeat—he discovered the DnB movement from its predated roots to all of its sub-genre’s. He is a founding member of the legendary CBS crew and worked at Clubhead Records as its DnB specialist. In addition to being a household name during the Midwest rave movement, he has held club residencies at DV8, The Warehouse, Clique, Rinse Cycle, GravityBass, and Sweat playing all different types of dance music—but always having an affinity for the underground DnB sound. ---------------------------------------------------- RICK ALWAYS Urban Pioneer / Cincinnati, OH House music In 1997 Rick found his love for electronic music. After experimenting with many genres including electro and breaks he finally settled on the chunky and dirty side of house. He has become a powerhouse in the promotion world and has given dance music a much needed renovation in the Greater Cincinnati area.
