Soul Step Records Announce Thirteenth Release

Fresh off the success of the Cincinnati Brewers Series, Soul Step Records is proud to announce their Thirteenth release (SSR-013). For this particular release, Soul Step is partnering with Lexington, KY’s own Matt Duncan.

After releasing the full length of Matt Duncan’s “Soft Times” and “Beacon,” Soul Step and Matt Duncan will be releasing a 45 single of two new songs. Side A is a cover of The Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” in the style of an Al Green cut on Hi-Records in the 70’s. Side B is “Tell You What I Know.”

Matt Duncan has continued to grow his sound during his work alongside Neil Patrick Harris and other stars in Broadway’s “Hedwig & The Angry Inch.” These tracks are in Matt Duncan’s classic 70’s AM Gold sound, and they are sure to find a place in any record collection.

In true Soul Step fashion, there will be a special limited edition variant of this release. Soul Step is releasing the first 100 copies of this vinyl on random marbled color vinyl. Each vinyl is unique in color and look.

Soul Step Subscribers will be able to purchase this release starting Sunday, October 16th. General public sale will be October 21st.
