Ryan Fine Releases First Solo Album Alone with Dreamers

CCM Student Ryan Fine releases his first solo album Alone with Dreamers at Woodward Theater in OTR on Saturday, June 18, 2016.  Doors open 7:30pm, music at 8:30pm.

To call Cincinnati native, Singer/Songwriter/Producer Ryan Fine’s first solo album “Alone with Dreamers” a “labor of love” is an understatement.  From the first orchestral all-strings track entitled “Truth and Beauty” to heart-wrenching fan favorite “Pull the Plug” featuring his talented singer/songwriter sister, Kelly Fine from Cincinnati’s Young Heirlooms, Ryan’s attention to details shines through every momentous note.  Wiser and motivated beyond his (almost) 21 years, Ryan invested a full year to create, produce, write, arrange, sing and engineer a noteworthy collection of songs on a shoestring budget.  Recorded at University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music, Ryan pulled in fellow Jazz Performance Major friends to provide accompaniment, giving many of his tracks a full sound. Notable Cincinnati Guitarist, Brad Myers (The Brad Myers Trio, The MidWestern Swing) layered on rhythm guitar on Pity and a burning solo on Think Fast. Ryan is an assistant engineer at Newport’s Audio Grotto where Music, Film and Sound Design specialist – Ashley Shepherd stepped in to master the final recordings.  The result of Ryan’s year of collaboration, writing, producing and recording is a collection of moving, well prepared, ear catching songs from the heart that are sure to grab you on a deep level.
