Shaky Knees Returns to Atlanta for Its Fourth Year

Shaky Knees Returns to Atlanta for Its Fourth Year

By on  Comments

Shaky Knees may be one of the the best festivals if you like all walks of life in the alternative genre.

A diverse lineup of bands top the bill. Jane’s Addiction, My Morning Jacket, Florence + The Machine, The 1975, and At The Drive-in will all perform headlining sets this year.

The bill boasts over 70 bands of various genres from folk to metal.  The Kills, Bloc Party, Cold War Kids, Slowdive, The Decemberists, Huey Lewis and The News, Foals, Silversun Pickups, Deftones, Explosions In The Sky, Young the Giant, The Head and The Heart, Eagles Of Death Metal, Houndmouth, Black Angels and several more highlight the lineup.

The festival’s creator, Tim Sweetwood, named the festival after a My Morning Jacket song. Fitting that the band would go on to headline this year. My Morning Jacket’s frontman, Jim James, played the festival’s inaugural year in 2013.

Shaky Knees takes place at the Centennial Olympic Park and International Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia May 13-15. Weekend and single day passes are still available HERE.
